As the Founder and CEO of Solar Service Guys, Peter boasts over two decades of experience in the electrical industry. Peter is passionate about the electrical and renewable sectors and currently is the president of Master Electricians Australia.

In both 2018 and 2019, Peter was celebrated as the Young Entrepreneur of the Year, and in 2019, he also received a prestigious Master Electricians of the Year award, solidifying his reputation as an outstanding leader in the industry, with Solar Service Guys playing a significant role in these achievements.

Peter’s leadership has seen Solar Service Guys flourish, expanding its team to over 100 employees who provide services across the entire nation. They have successfully visited and served over 70,000 homes throughout Australia, a testament to their commitment to delivering top-notch solar solutions and services.

Rowan Diamond is the Managing Director of 1st Call Electrical Services in Victoria.

Rowan has been providing customer-focused electrical solutions to his client base for 17 years across two different continents. Rowan believes that with assistance, smaller operators can be highly professional and provide safe, quality outcomes for their clients while being profitable and enjoying a good quality of life.

Troy Smith is the Manager Director of Electric Results in South Australia. He is an experienced and successful strategic leader, possessing well developed marketing, sales and people management skills gained both at the coal face and in senior executive roles within commercial and industrial electrical environments.

Ray is the director of Laser Electrical Granville in Sydney NSW. Originally formed in 1998, it has grown from a sole operator to employing 15 full time people, operating mostly in the commercial & industrial fields.

As a member of the Sydney AAC, Ray has a keen interest in ensuring that small contractors’ voices are heard & that our concerns are not lost to those who regulate & run our industry.

He is passionate about ensuring MEA members get the full benefit of their membership to improve the industry for us all in the long term.

Alex Foster is the director of Foster’s Services, an electrical company specialising in the healthcare industry and leads a team of 30 staff.

Alex has a long association working across many of Western Australia’s leading healthcare /hospital sites both public and private, and an intimate knowledge of this sector being involved as a long serving board member of the Institute of Healthcare Engineers Australia (WA branch).

Giving back to the electrical industry is important to Alex having represented on several standards committees including AS/NZS 3003:2018 “Electrical installations patient areas”. Often assisting contractors small and large to ensure that compliance is achieved.

The training and development of apprentices has always been important to Alex with many now excelling across the electrical industry having started at Foster’s Services.

Alex is passionate about MEA and the benefits of being a member of an association to further safety, quality, and business practice in the industry.

Cat is one of the founders and directors of Devil Electrical Tasmania. Growing up in Southern Tasmania Cat brings her sense of community and family values to each aspect of her life.

With a strong background in Operations Management and Consumer Behaviour, Cat brings a fresh approach to identifying and overcoming challenges within the electrical industry.

Cat is grateful to be a part of MEA and wants to ensure that other members utilize the support and resources available to them to help shape our industry. She is enthusiastic about working with fellow members to enhance industry standards and build a stronger, more connected network.
