The Women in Contracting Award is a category designed to recognise exceptional women who have made significant contributions to the electrical contracting industry. These women play a vital role in their organisation, and show dedication, passion and drive. When applying, take into consideration business contribution, professional development, and managing challenges.
This award is for individuals within the electrical industry, whether in a technical or non-technical role, including those women who work behind the scenes managing, promoting, and developing the company.
This award will be judged on the contribution to the business, work ethic, commitment to the industry and support for other women and minority groups in the industry

Note: This award is intended for individuals in non-technical roles within the electrical industry. Female applicants with technical expertise should apply under the categories of ‘Apprentice of the Year’ or ‘Electrician (Tradie) of the Year’.

Work ethic
- Describe or provide an example of the nominee’s commitment to safe, quality and timely outcomes at work.
Contribution to the business
- Describe how the nominee has contributed to the electrical business.
