Addressing enquiries raised from industry regarding the application of clause 2.6.3.2.3.2 as it relates to mechanical protection of the Wiring Rules committee EL-001 has decided to release a  ruling. MEA, as a member of EL-001 has worked with the committee to ensure that a practical outcome was obtained for all parties involved, and that selection of a protection method from clause 3.9.4.4 (a) or (b) would not be required along its entire length.
